We are currently seeking an experienced Imports Operations Coordinator to join our busy and dynamic team in Immingham, specialising in fleet freight operations between the UK and Scandinavia. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in coordinating inbound shipments, ensuring smooth and timely delivery, and maintaining strong working relationships with clients and carriers across Europe.

The Job Role:

This role is in a busy vessel operators office requires an individual to have an understanding and direct experience of the shipping /freight forwarding industry's. This position would cover all aspects with an import operator role.

Typical duties include:

  • Processing of ships manifest & EDI files from Scandinavia
  • LCL AND FCL Shipments
  • Accurate and timely inputting of data in our IT operation systems
  • Customs Entries
  • Organising of Uk Deliveries
  • Undertaking of processes and organising veterinary checks
  • Checking P&L on import shipments
  • Inputting of revenues and cost in our operating systems
  • Stock control and occasional charter vessels
  • General Office Duties
