Hours 08.00 to 16.00 Monday to Thursday & Friday 08.00 to 12.00, 36 hours a week
My client is looking for Laboratory Technicians to join their current team and to be successful in this position you will require the following experience :
Assist Laboratory Supervisor to ensure work meets health and safety requirements, is done on time and to required quality standards
Deputise for the Laboratory Supervisor to ensure work continues to be carried out to a high standard
Ensure all work is done to correct quality standards, completed on time and without error, and with the minimum of supervision and monitoring
Learn new work techniques, formulations, processes and train others
Maintain accurate records for stock control, QC testing and production monitoring purposes
Carry out other production duties in different departments as required
Identify new methods of working and improve working practices in collaboration with other team members and production management
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, ensuring that work areas are kept clean and tidy, and glassware is washed and put away
Understand and adhere to performance and quality standards, making sure that all work is done to meet customer needs
All work is to be carried out accurately to avoid errors, with careful following of work and sales order requirements
Take responsibility for good work standards, anticipate problems and take the initiative to prevent problems from occurring with quality and efficiency, alerting others and management to ensure action is taken
