Location: Immingham
Hours: 12 hour shifts
Contract: Temp-to-Perm
We are looking for an experienced and safety-conscious Loading Shovel Driver to join our busy operations. Working within a high-performing team, you'll play a key role in handling and moving bulk materials efficiently and safely.
Operate loading shovels to transport materials such as aggregates, scrap, waste, or recyclables across site.
Load hoppers, feeders, and vehicles with precision and awareness.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance of machinery.
Maintain a clean and safe working area, complying with all site Health & Safety standards.
Report any defects, hazards, or issues promptly to the supervisor.
Support wider yard or plant duties as required (e.g., traffic control, general labouring).
Valid and in-date Loading Shovel ticket (e.g., NPORS, CPCS or equivalent).
Proven experience operating a loading shovel in an industrial, quarry, recycling, or construction environment.
Strong understanding of site safety protocols.
Physically fit, reliable, and able to work as part of a team.
Flexibility for working days and hours.
Counterbalance or telehandler licence.
Experience working in waste management, quarries, aggregates, or dockside environments.
Mechanical understanding or plant maintenance awareness.
