Machine and Warehouse Operative

Daventry

Temporary to Permanent position

£14 per hour initially (Once permanent rising to circa £30,000 per annum)

Monday to Thursday 8.45am - 5pm and Friday 8.45am - 4pm

Our client is a longstanding business based in the heart of Daventry. They are now looking to recruit a Machine and Warehouse operative to join their small,but busy team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual that wants to work within a production environment for a business that is expanding in growth. Working within a clean and well-maintained workplace.

You will be required to feed and run a machine designed for gluing products and carry out various warehousing duties, to include Fork lift Truck driving (Full training can be given if required)

Responsibilities and Duties :

• Machine Operation
• Loading Rollers of materials onto a machine
• Ensuring that the product runs smoothly through the machine
• Preparation of Jobs ready for gluing
• Monitoring of each job to make sure that quality is maintained
• Quality checking the finished product
• Daily machine maintenance and Health and Safety checks
• Warehouse duties to include Picking,Packing,Hand balling and Dispatch
• Forklift truck operation (Full training can be given)
• Ensuring adherence to Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times

Skills :

• Machine operative experience (Ideally)
• Working knowledge within a production or warehousing environment
• Motivated with a positive helpful attitude
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Team player with the ability to also work on own initiative
• Must be versatile as you will support other departments within the warehouse as and when required.
• Awareness and knowledge of Health and Safety
