Working in partnership with TAYTO/Golden Wonder in Scunthorpe we are recruiting reliable, hardworking Machine Operative to work on the weekends.

Machine Operative shift patterns available:
PART TIME:
- Saturday and Sunday 6am-6pm - Payrate £15.70/h
- During training period we will require to follow Wed/Thu/Fri 6am-2pm - training £13.69/h, Sat/Sun 6am-2pm £15.70/h rota
Main Purpose of Role:
Responsible for operating machines on a production line in.
Principal Activities
- Operate all machines/equipment inline with training guidelines, giving particular consideration to health and safety guidelines at all times and wearing the correct PPE for each task.
- Have a working knowledge and understanding of other machine operator roles and responsibilities as well as an understanding of manufacturing techniques and processes.
- Monitor and maintain product quality in accordance with training guidelines and customer requirements to include dates, seals and weight checks.
- Carry out all necessary quality, HACCP, safety and flavour checks, including completing paperwork as required.
- Optimising machine/equipment set-up, evaluating and correct faults within job authority, escalating issues to the Engineering Department as required.
- Maintain housekeeping standards.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties suitable to the level and responsibilities of this role as required.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Manufacturing experience within an FMCG environment
- Numerate and literate
- Self motivated
- Excellent communication skills
