Machine Operator

Location: Grimsby

Hours: 7am -5pm

Pay Rate: £15.00

We are currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join a busy recycling plant. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator looking for stable, long-term work within the recycling and waste industry.

Job Role:

  • Operating a 360 excavator safely and efficiently
  • Using a selector grab for material handling and sorting
  • Working within a recycling plant environment
  • Loading, moving, and processing recyclable materials
  • Carrying out daily machine checks and basic maintenance
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations on site
  • Supporting the site team to maintain productivity

Requirements:

  • Proven experience operating a 360 excavator
  • Previous experience working in a recycling plant
  • NPORS qualification (must be valid)
  • Experience using a selector grab
  • Strong awareness of site safety and procedures
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
