    Stafforce are recruiting experienced Machine Operators for our client based in Barnsley. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a production or manufacturing background who enjoy working in a hands-on environment and are confident operating machinery.

    The Role

    As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery, including sewing machines, while supporting the wider production team to ensure products are manufactured efficiently and to high quality standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Operating machinery, including sewing machines, safely and efficiently
    • Setting up, adjusting and monitoring machines during production runs
    • Carrying out general production and manufacturing duties as required
    • Performing quality inspections to ensure products meet required standards
    • Following company procedures and health & safety guidelines at all times
    • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
    • Supporting colleagues and contributing to a productive team environment

    What We're Looking For

    Essential

    • Previous experience working within a production, manufacturing, or industrial environment
    • Experience operating machinery within a manufacturing setting
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
    • Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well as part of a team
    • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new processes

    Desirable

    • Full UK Driving Licence
    • FLT (Forklift Truck) Licence or previous FLT experience
    • Willingness to undertake further training and gain additional certifications
