We're on the lookout for a Maintenance Engineer to handle both reactive and planned maintenance at our client's site. This could be the perfect role for you! Working Monday to Thursday 40hrs a week 7am until 5.30pm weekends off. This is a permanent role directly with our client

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform statutory and preventative maintenance on plant and equipment
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and diagnose mechanical faults
  • Carry out repairs and rebuilds as needed
  • Manufacture replacement parts (lathe/milling experience preferred)
  • Assist with installation of new equipment to specification
  • Operate portable tools and plant equipment safely
  • Perform welding and fabrication tasks
  • Maintain accurate records using our CMMS system
  • Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter/Technician
  • NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (preferred)
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • IT literate with experience using maintenance systems
  • Flexible with working hours and overtime
  • Experience with CAD/SolidWorks, automation, or robotics (advantageous)
  • Basic electrical competence (preferred)
