  • Monitor equipment performance and identify improvements or potential faults early.
  • Set up, operate, and adjust machinery across automated lines and workstations.

  • Troubleshoot product or equipment issues and implement solutions to maintain uptime.
  • Conduct product quality checks and respond to deviations in real-time.
  • Work closely with production teams to ensure equipment is safe, clean, and optimally maintained.
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and maximise productivity.
  • Provide incident and productivity reports as required.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Time-served engineer with a minimum HNC/HND in a relevant engineering discipline (mechanical or electrical).
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing maintenance or production technician role.
  • Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Familiar with lean manufacturing, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Computer literacy (Excel, Word) for logging, reporting, and maintenance tracking.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions.
  • Driving licence preferred.

What's on Offer:

  • Competitive Salary up to £40,000+ per year (depending on experience).
  • 3-shift rotation:

    • Afternoons: 2pm-10pm
