We are looking for a Manufacturing Operative to work for our client in Daventry on a full-time basis.

Job Title: Manufacturing Operative

Location: Daventry

Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 8.30am-4.30pm; Friday, 8.30am-4.00pm

Pay: £25,262.12 per annum - £13.13 per hour

Would consider temporary, temporary to permanent or permanent candidates

We are recruiting for a reliable and motivated Manufacturing Operative to support production and warehouse operations for a well-established business in Daventry. This is a great opportunity for someone with production, warehouse, manufacturing, engineering, or machinery experience who takes pride in quality, safety, and attention to detail.

About the Role

The role may involve polishing and finishing stainless steel products, operating machinery such as a press brake or laser cutter, and carrying out welding tasks, with training provided where required.

Key Duties

  • Always Follow Health & Safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised workspace
  • Handle, inspect, and check products carefully to meet quality standards
  • Operate basic computer systems including Navision and Excel
  • Work to production schedules, targets, and quality requirements
  • Polish, finish, and prepare stainless steel products
  • Set up, monitor, and operate production machinery including press brake and laser cutter equipment
  • Support welding tasks, with training provided where needed
  • Carry out basic machine checks, clear minor jams, and report any issues
  • Support wider warehouse duties and general production activity as required

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in production, warehouse, manufacturing, machining, or similar environments is desirable
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Basic IT skills, including confidence using simple computer systems
  • Awareness of Health & Safety procedures in a factory or warehouse setting
  • Ability to follow instructions, work to targets, and stay organised
  • Mechanical aptitude or experience operating machinery would be beneficial
