We're recruiting on behalf of a leading commercial vehicle manufacturer who is looking to add an experienced Mechanical / Hydraulic / Pneumatic Fitter to their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position after a successful 12-week period.

🕒 Working Hours:

📅 Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 4:00pm
📅 Friday: 7:30am - 3:00pm

🔧 The Role:

✅ Assemble, install and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems on commercial vehicles
✅ Fit and repair components including pumps, valves, cylinders, pipework and associated equipment
✅ Read and work from technical drawings, schematics and build specifications
✅ Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics and repairs to ensure equipment operates efficiently
✅ Support refurbishment projects and new vehicle builds
✅ Maintain quality, safety and production standards at all times

✔️ What We're Looking For:

✅ Previous experience in a Mechanical, Hydraulic or Pneumatic Fitter role
✅ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering schematics
✅ Experience using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment
✅ Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
✅ Full UK Driving Licence required
✅ Excellent attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team
