Mill Operator
We are excited to announce an opening for a Mill Operator to join our client's team in the Thirsk area. This position is perfect for someone who has hands-on experience running pellet presses in a mill environment or has a strong technical background and is eager to learn the ropes of this role.
Due to the location of the facility, having your own transport is essential to easily get to work.
While previous experience as a Mill Operator is preferred, we are also keen to hear from candidates with a technical background who are willing to undergo training. To succeed in this role, it's important that you have a solid understanding of safety procedures in a production environment and a keen eye for detail to uphold our commitment to quality.
Mill Operator Key Responsibilities:
· Set up and operate animal feed pellet pressing equipment.
· Ensure the plant operates safely and adheres to feed safety standards.
· Monitor production processes to maintain efficiency and quality.
· Conduct routine equipment checks and perform maintenance as needed.
· Collaborate with the team to enhance operational practices.

Hours:
Monday - Thursday 6am-6pm
Friday 6am - 4pm
