MIXER
Working in partnership with one of the largest independant sealant manufacturers in the UK, we are recruiting a reliable, hardworking Mixer to work in the HU17 area in Hull. This is a fantastic opportunity that offers full time, ongoing work with the potential of a permanent role after just 12 weeks with an excellent starting pay rate of (£12.66/hr), rising up to £13.50ph and opportunities for overtime paid at premium rates.
Shift pattern / Working hours
Monday to Thursday
1.45pm to 10.45pm OR 5am-2pm (£12.66 to £13.50 after 12 weeks)
Shifts do not rotate - would be earlies or lates.
Start date / Duration
Mixer op positions will commence with immediate effect. This is ongoing, long-term work and will lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.
Job description
As a Mixer you will be responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient preparation of sealant batches using industrial mixing equipment. Your day to day duties will include;
· Operating mixing machinery to make substances for the sealants, paints etc
· Following batch recipes - reading and interpreting mixing instructions
· Weighing and loading materials of up to 25kg bags - consistent heavy lifting
· Checking ingredients for quality and consistency before use
