Nuclear Admin Assistant

Location: Seacale - £16PH
Immediate Start Available

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Nuclear Admin Assistant to join our team supporting a major nuclear project based in Seacale. This is a 9 - 12 month contract.

This is an excellent opportunity to become a key part of a busy project team, providing vital administrative support while helping to maintain compliance, training records, SQEP requirements, and project documentation within a highly regulated nuclear environment.

The Role

As a Nuclear Admin Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting project operations by maintaining accurate personnel records, coordinating training and competency requirements, and ensuring compliance with nuclear industry standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining personnel competency, training, and accreditation records
  • Supporting and administering the SQEP (Suitably Qualified and Experienced Personnel) process, ensuring records remain accurate, current, and compliant
  • Coordinating training requirements and monitoring expiry dates to maintain workforce compliance
  • Assisting with on-boarding activities and personnel verification processes
  • Supporting project meetings, preparing minutes, and tracking actions through to completion
  • Managing project documentation, reports, and electronic filing systems
  • Processing time-sheets, purchase orders, and expense claims
  • Providing administrative support to project managers and site teams
  • Acting as a key point of contact for project personnel and stakeholders
  • Ensuring records and documentation comply with nuclear industry standards, site procedures, and regulatory requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Previous administrative experience within a busy office or project environment
  • Experience maintaining training, competency, or personnel records
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • Experience within the nuclear, engineering, construction, or technical sectors would be advantageous
  • Understanding of SQEP requirements would be beneficial
  • Valid P4 Pass (Essential) - MUST BE IN DATE AND ACTIVE

Working Hours

Choose from one of the following full-time shift patterns:

Option 1

  • Monday to Thursday
  • 07:00 - 16:30

Option 2

  • Tuesday to Friday
  • Tuesday to Thursday: 07:00 - 16:30
  • Friday: 07:00 - 12:00
