We are currently recrurinig for an experienced Office Manager on behalf of our well established client in Lincoln.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established UK manufacturer and market leading supplier of premium packaging products.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of sales strategies, and the ability to motivate and inspire others. This role requires a strategic thinker who can analyse market trends and develop effective sales plans to achieve business objectives.

Working: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Working as part of an experienced team, this is both a proactive and reactive role. You will be expected to support and help deliver existing business from design inception through to final delivery.

The Office Manager will play a key role in overseeing daily office operations, providing administrative support, and ensuring a smooth, efficient work environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual looking to contribute to the success of a fast-paced packaging business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Office Administration: Oversee day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of all administrative tasks.
  • Staff Management: Supervise office support staff, provide guidance, and ensure that all office duties are executed accurately and on time.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communication, including answering phones, responding to emails, and liaising with clients, suppliers, and other departments.
  • Document Management: Organize and maintain filing systems, both physical and digital, ensuring that important documents are accessible and up to date.
  • Customer Service Support: Provide assistance to the sales and customer service teams, handling customer inquiries and ensuring a high level of service.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

You MUST have a current & proven track record of success in an office based management role.
It is PREFERABLE that you have previous experience of working in the packaging sector.

Individual requirements must include

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar role in a relevant industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team towards achieving goals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction.
