PACKING OPERATIVE
We are seeking a reliable and fast paced Packing Operative to support a busy packing department within a manufacturing environment. This role involves accurately cutting materials to specification, packing finished goods, and ensuring all products meet quality standards before dispatch.
Shift pattern/ Working hours:
Monday - Thursday 5am-2pm (36 hours per week)
Start date / Duration
The packing operative position will commence with immediate effect.
Job Description
As a Packing Operative your key responsibilities will be;
- Cutting materials accurately in line with required measurements and specifications
- Pack finished products securely and prepare them for dispatch
- Carry out quality checks to ensure all items meet expected standards
- Label and organise products correctly for distribution
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
- Work towards daily production targets and deadlines
Requirements
To be successful as a Packing Operative you will have;
- Previous experience in a production, packing, or manufacturing role needed
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in fast - paced environments
- Comfortable with manual handling and standing for extended periods
- Good organisational and time management skills
