PACKING/ CUTTER OPERATIVE
We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Packing / Cutter Operative to support production operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment located in the Beverely area. This role involves accurately cutting materials to specification, packing finished goods, and ensuring all products meet quality standards before dispatch.
Shift pattern/ Working hours:
Monday - Thursday ( 1.45pm till 10.45pm)
Start date / Duration
The packing/cutter operative position will commence as soon as possible. This is a temporary role.
Job Description
We are looking for a dependable and quality-driven Packing / Cutter Operative to join a busy production environment. In this role, you will be responsible for cutting materials to precise measurements, preparing products for dispatch, and ensuring all items meet required quality standards. You will contribute to the smooth running of the production process by working efficiently to meet targets, both independently and alongside colleagues, while consistently following health and safety guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Cutting materials accurately in line with required measurements and specifications
- Pack finished products securely and prepare them for dispatch
- Carry out quality checks to ensure all items meet expected standards
- Labl and organise products correctly for distribution
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
- Work towards daily production targets and deadlines
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a production, packing, or manufacturing role needed
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in fast - paced environments
- Comfortable with manual handling and standing for extended periods
- Good organisational and time management skills
