We are seeking skilled family paralegals to become part of a dynamic team. This position involves supporting senior fee earners with a substantial caseload, primarily focused on Care work, within a large team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Initiating case files

* Providing daily support to the team

* Keeping clients informed about case developments

* Liaising with courts, experts, and agencies

* Scheduling appointments

* Managing phone communications

* Assembling document bundles for hearings

* Interacting with clients both in-person and remotely as needed

* Offering general legal and administrative assistance

* Managing diaries

* Attending court to assist counsel and/or clients

* Conducting legal aid assessments and applications

* Taking client appointments and gathering initial instructions

Required Experience:

* Proactive and eager to engage in tasks

* Strong interpersonal skills

* Ability to thrive in a lively team setting

* Flexibility to meet client and team demands

* Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize a heavy workload

* A minimum of 12 months of experience in a family law team is essential

* Proficiency in Case Management Systems and Laserforms is required

* Familiarity with the Legal Aid Agency Portal (CCMS) is essential

* Experience with Excel spreadsheets is preferred.

This is a Liverpool based office role initially with hybrid opportunities after probation.
