We are recruiting for a Paraplanner within Financial Services on a permanent and full time basis.

Location: Leicester, Leicestershire LE8

Salary: Circa £37,500 per annum

Contract: Permanent, office based

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm

About the Role

Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Paraplanner to provide comprehensive support to their financial advisers. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and detail-focused individual to play a key role in delivering high-quality advice solutions and ensuring a seamless client experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct provider and product research, fund performance and risk analysis, and cashflow modelling using FE Analytics or similar tools.
  • Prepare bespoke, compliant suitability reports tailored to individual client needs.
  • Interpret Fact Finds and KYC documentation to identify appropriate client outcomes and solutions.
  • Support senior staff and advisers with technical analysis and evidence-based recommendations.
  • Manage complex cases from inception to completion, resolving technical queries and providing suitable remedies.
  • Maintain your own workflow, working independently to meet deadlines and service level agreements.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues via phone, email and written correspondence.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent service delivery and provide cover during absences when required.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in paraplanning and report writing within financial services.
  • Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments and retirement planning.
  • Ability to extract and interpret relevant information from Fact Finds to produce cohesive and compliant reports.
  • Experience with fund performance and risk analysis.
  • Experience with cashflow modelling.
  • Knowledge of various platforms and providers would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • A client-focused approach, with a commitment to excellence and relationship-building.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to compliance and quality standards.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage a high volume of tasks under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams, with experience using Curo or similar systems desirable.

Qualifications

  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS), or actively working towards completion.
