- £14.00 - £20.00 per hour

We have multiple opportunities across the Humber Ports from Grimsby to Goole for experienced Plant Drivers. We are seeking to recruit experienced Heavy Plant Drivers inclusive of Forklifts, Loading Shovels, Tug Drivers, 360 Excavators, Dumper Driver and Material Handlers. What do we look for in a Plant Driver at Stafforce?
Stafforce Ports is 100% committed to ensuring a safe working environment, a health and safety conscious attitude is essential!
- Previous experience operating heavy plant and equipment such as Loading Shovels, Forklifts, Dumper Trucks, 360 Excavators, Material Handlers, Tugs, Cranes, Diggers, Tractor units, HGV are highly desirable
- Valid licences are desirable however we can refresh all plant licences with our accredited Trainers
- Accredited licences from ITTSAR, NPORS, RTITB are highly desirable but not essential, in house licences will be considered
- Previous experienced operating plant such as Loading Shovels and 360 Excavators in a port environment is highly desirable but other sectors considered such as Construction, Renewables, Demolition, Quarry and Agriculture
- Full UK Driving Licence is highly desirable
- Keen to learn and develop new skills including H&S training, Bucket/Blade training, Hopper operation
- A respectful approach to plant and machinery
- Novice Forklift operators with a good aptitude for operating plant will be considered as entry level Plant Drivers

- Operating Heavy Plant including but not limited to Loading Shovels, 360 Excavators, B2 Forklift Counter Balance Trucks, Terberg Units, Overhead Cranes, Ship to Shore Cranes, Skidsteers, Material Handlers
- Operating industrial machinery inclusive of Hoppers, Crushers and Conveyors
- Discharging and Loading of vessels
- Loading Wagons, Hoppers and Trains
- Handling various commodities such as Bulk, Steel, Timber and Biomass
- Quayside duties such as slinger banksman, traffic marshall as required
