We have opportunities in the Seaham area for operatives working in a port environment. The focus of the role is to ensure that all operations involving our customer's cargo are carried out safely and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity if you are looking for a varied role working in different areas depending on the requirements of the business. This role is open to people with or without prior sector experience and offers specific ports training.

The Job Role

• Loading and unloading products in a timely and safe way

• Days, nights and weekends - Successful candidates must be able to complete all shifts with flexibility to vessel traffic requirements.

• Working on the quayside providing labouring duties and slinger banksman

• Maintaining complete safety of yourself & all other employees and visitors at all times

Experience:

• Previous experience of slinger banksman work and certifcate
• Experience working within a busy warehouse or port environment
