Stafforce Ports are recruiting Port Operatives with a strong focus on bagging to join our busy operation at the Port of Immingham.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a busy port environment, with earning potential linked to the amount of tonnage you bag. The more productive you are, the more you can earn, with rates of up to £25 per hour available.

The Role

The main focus of this role will be bagging cargo efficiently and safely. Your duties may include:

• Bagging and handling cargo

• Working to tonnage and productivity targets

• Loading and unloading cargo

• Supporting vessel and cargo operations

• Slinging and banking during vessel operations

• Lashing and securing cargo

• General port and terminal duties

• Industrial cleaning and housekeeping

• Following strict health and safety procedures

• Working as part of a team to keep port operations running safely and efficiently

What We're Looking For

Previous experience would be beneficial but full training can be provided.

Experience in the following areas would be useful:

• Port or dock operations

• Bagging or cargo handling

• Warehousing or logistics

• Slinging and banking

• Lashing and rigging

• Industrial or manufacturing environments

• Manual or physically demanding work

A full UK driving licence is highly desirable and may provide opportunities for further training and progression onto specialist port equipment and machinery.
