Join Stafforce Ports

Stafforce Ports are recruiting Port Operatives to support a variety of cargo handling and vessel operations within the Port of Hull. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy port environment, working across quayside and supporting terminal operations.
No two days are the same in this varied role, with duties ranging from supporting vessel operations to gatehouse activities and industrial cleaning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Slinging and banking operations
  • Supporting container handling activities
  • Lashing and rigging cargo and containers
  • Gatehouse and traffic management duties
  • Industrial cleaning and housekeeping across operational areas
  • Assisting vessel discharge and loading operations
  • Supporting safe and efficient quayside operations
  • Adhering to all site health and safety procedures

Skills & Experience

We are interested in candidates with experience in:
  • Port Operations
  • Quayside Operations
  • Slinging and Banking
  • Lashing and Rigging
  • Container Operations
  • Industrial Cleaning
  • Logistics and Warehouse Operations
  • Heavy Industrial Environments
A full UK driving licence is highly desirable and can support future development opportunities within the port, including training on additional plant and machinery.
