Stafforce Carlisle are working with a renowned local construction contractor, searching for a Pre-Contract Administrator to assist their teams. The role is specifically to support the pre-contract phase of projects, collaborating with project managers, bid writers and estimators to ensure that all documents required are completed and compiled in a timely manner. This is a crucial role within the business, allowing the smooth transition through the project processes.

Daily tasks will include:
- Ensuring documentation is accurate and submitted within deadlines
- Maintaining all tender and pre-contract records
- Managing all general administration for the wider team
- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards
- Assisting with the writing of bids through to submission stage
- Liaising with key suppliers to understand lead times
Your experience will certainly include a good grounding in administration, ensuring you are fluent in the use of MS Office. Ideally, you will be used to the workings of a construction office, giving you a firm understanding of the language used throughout the planning process, and of the tender and bid process as a whole. It's important you have the ability to multitask and prioritise, as often there will be multiple projects requiring attention at once, and it goes without saying that your written and spoken communication will be second to none.
