PRINT OPERATOR
We are recruiting an experienced Print Operator to join one of the leading packaging suppliers in the UK based in East Hull. This is a Temp to Perm Vacancy, offering a starting payrate of £11.44ph with various opportunities to progress which comes with higher payrates.
Shift pattern / Working hours
35 hours per week on a rotating shift basis;
Week 1 - Monday to Thursday 6am-2pm & Friday 6am-11am
Week 2 - Monday to Thursday 2pm-10pm & Friday 11am-4pm

The Print Operator role is a Temporary position that will commence with immediate effect and develop into a Permanent role after 12 weeks of employment.
Job description
As a Print Operator you will be responsible for the manufacturing of high-quality paper sacks, packaging, bagging and wrapping solutions for a range of industries. Your duties will include;
· Working at the end of line - taking off products, stacking and palletising in the correct manner
· Operating various types of printing machinery which could be semi-automatic or manual
· Monitor and inspect the quality of the products
· Run the manufacturing of products in accordance with specification, particularly ensuring that these are within production timescale targets
· Lifting and manoeuvring products around the factory to ensure they are in the right places for the next stage of the manufacturing process
· Assisting with printer and warehouse duties when needed
· Operating a forklift to move pallets into the warehouse (providing you have a license)
The successful candidate:
To be considered for the position of Print Operator you must;
· Ideally have experience working in print/packaging manufacturing
· Have a great attention to detail throughout packing, finishing and inspecting products
· Have experience operating machines, ideally print or packaging machines
· Be able to work well under pressure
· Have the ability to work well as a team but also individually
It would also be advantageous (but not essential) if you have a valid Counterbalance forklift license
