Job Details

We are recruiting Production Operatives for a well respected industry leading manufacturer in rural Carlisle looking to add to their workforce for their peak season.

Permanent contracts are available at the end of peak for the right people.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate plant and equipment (if trained) to the required health and safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Complete health and safety, quality and production related documentation as required.
• Responsible for the quality of the product produced
• Actively monitor the finished product against customer specifications making sure the production line is set to the correct specifications
• have an understanding HACCP principles and learn the companies HACCP plan.
• Carry out cleaning duties making sure to keep the factory clean at all times.
• Assist with line changeovers and routine maintenance
• Operate production lines to achieve daily and weekly production targets

Job Requirements

• Own transport is a necessity due to the location of the factory
• Previous Production experience is a must have
• Able to work the required shift pattern

Shift Pattern

• 4 on 4 off
• Days and Nights
• Days- 06.00 to 18.00
• Nights- 18.00 to 06.00

Rates of Pay

• Day rate- £13
• Nights rate- £15.60
• Saturday day rate- £19.50
• Saturday night rate- £22.10
• Sunday day rate- £26
• Sunday night rate- £28.60

You get paid these rates on your standard shift pattern so you are guaranteed the enhanced rates resulting in a great annual salary.
