Food production Operative

Working in partnership with a food manufacturer based in Driffield, we are recruiting a reliable, hardworking Food production packer to work in the Driffield area. This is an ongoing position that could go perm after 12 weeks with a pay rate of (£11.44/hr)

Shift pattern / Working hours

. Monday and Tuesday 6am-6pm

. Wednesday to friday 6am-2pm

. 10 hour shifts

. 12 hour Shifts

. Basic rate £11.44

.Overtime at £14.30 eligible after working 100 hours in 2 weeks

Start date / Duration

The Food production packer role is an ongoing contract with a 12 week duration. This will commence with immediate effect, however, should you have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around this. This position is flexible and can offer part time for those for need it.

Job description

As a Food production packer you will be responsible for packing food and adhering to Food health and safety regulations. Waste segregation preparation, having a flexible attitude and a willingness to work are essential.

Day to day you will be expected to;

· Decanting meat

· Chilled packing environment

· Packing and picking

· Breaking down produce and putting through the shredder

· Working with raw foods

. Heavy lifting and labouring

The successful candidate:

To be considered for the position of Food production packer you must;

• Have Food production experience
• Have own transport, due to location
• Proven experience as a Food Production Packer ideal but not essential
• This role is working in a chilled environment with full PPE provided
