🏭 Production Operative 🏭

💷 Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

🕒 Shift Pattern: Rotating Shifts (41.25 hours per week) ✅ Days: 5:45am - 2:00pm
✅ Afters: 1:45pm - 10:00pm
✅ Nights: 9:45pm - 6:00pm

📍 We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join our client producing high-quality mattress pocket spring components.

Duties will include:

✅ Operating pneumatic clipping equipment to attach frames to pocket spring units
✅ Selecting correct frames and components using product codes and specifications
✅ Operating roll-pack machinery to package finished products
✅ Carrying out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
✅ Ensuring products are manufactured to customer specifications
✅ Completing production paperwork and accurately recording production data
✅ Following standard operating procedures and work instructions
✅ Maintaining high standards of housekeeping within the production area
✅ Manual handling and movement of materials
✅ Reporting any faults, hazards or safety concerns promptly
✅ Adhering to all health & safety procedures and company policies

To be considered, you must have:

✔️ Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
✔️ Good physical fitness for manual handling and lifting duties
✔️ Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
✔️ Good numeracy skills and attention to detail
✔️ Strong communication skills with a good standard of written and spoken English
✔️ Good organisation and housekeeping skills
✔️ Excellent timekeeping and reliability
✔️ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
