· Starting pay rates dependent on the shift (£11.48 on days, £11.62 on afternoons, after 12 weeks' pay rate is £11.48 on days and £13.44 on afternoons. Post 12 weeks pay rate on all shifts depends on grading system and vary from £11.48 to £12.80 on day shift, and from £13.44 to £14.98 on afternoon shift.

· Overtime paid at enhanced rate (1.33 x, 1.5 x and 1.75 x basic pay)

THE ROLE

As a Production Operative you will:

• be responsible for carrying out duties to a high standard as well as assisting in the general smooth running of the department
• manufacture products to the agreed specifications and in line in daily production rates
• operate range of machinery as a part of a multi-skilled team
• minimize waste by increasing efficiency and reducing errors
• be packing, boxing and palletising products
• perform general housekeeping duties
