We are currently recruiting Food Production Operatives to join a well-established food manufacturing business in Bury St Edmunds. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable, hardworking individuals looking for ongoing work in a fast-paced production environment.

As a Food Production Operative, you'll be responsible for supporting the production line, ensuring quality standards are maintained, and keeping the workplace clean, safe, and organised.


Shift Details (Rotating Weekly):

Week 1:

  • Monday to Thursday: 05:48 - 14:00

  • Friday: 05:48 - 12:00 (early finish)

Week 2:

  • Monday to Thursday: 13:48 - 22:00

  • Friday: 12:00 - 18:00 (earlier shift)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Working on the production line handling food products

  • Packing, labelling, and quality checking items

  • Following hygiene, food safety, and health & safety procedures

  • Assisting with cleaning and maintaining a tidy work environment

  • Supporting team leaders and supervisors with day-to-day production tasks


What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in food production or a similar environment is desirable but not essential

  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

  • Reliability and commitment to rotating shift work

  • Strong work ethic and a team-player attitude
