A growing engineering and manufacturing organisation is seeking a highly organised and commercially aware Project Manager to support continued expansion across its product lines.
The company produces steel solutions for a range of industries. With demand increasing, this new role has been created to strengthen internal coordination, improve project delivery and enhance communication across the business.
The Project Manager will act as the central coordination point for all projects, linking together internal teams across sales, engineering, customer service, transport, procurement and production. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving projects through the business, ensuring customer expectations are clearly understood, communicated and delivered.
The role also involves managing relationships with key internal partners who interface directly with customers. You will communicate project deliverables, production lead times, procurement requirements, design deadlines and overall project status.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working across multiple functions, solving problems, managing timelines and ensuring customers, contractors and external stakeholders receive a professional and reliable service throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the single point of contact for all live projects within the business.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders across sales, engineering, customer service, transport, procurement and production.
  • Manage communication with internal partners and ensure project expectations are clearly understood.
  • Drive workload through design and engineering teams to meet customer and project deadlines.
  • Monitor production lead times, procurement requirements and design milestones.
  • Communicate directly with customers, contractors and other external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, to specification and in line with customer expectations.
  • Identify project risks, delays or resource constraints and escalate where appropriate.
  • Support business growth by improving project visibility, communication and delivery performance.

About You

  • Experience in project management, project coordination or operational delivery.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work across multiple departments.
  • Excellent organisational and planning ability.
  • Experience working with engineering, manufacturing or construction projects.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and maintain momentum across several live projects.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Confidence dealing with customers, contractors, suppliers and internal teams.
  • Good commercial awareness and understanding of how delays, lead times and design changes affect project delivery.

Why This Role?
