This leading Manufacturing company, based in Hereford, is dedicated to excellence in quality, health & safety, and environmental performance. With a strong commitment to compliance, continuous improvement, and a positive workplace culture, they are now seeking an experienced QHSE Manager to join their leadership team.
The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a QHSE Manager to take ownership of Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental frameworks across the site. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role will lead compliance, drive continuous improvement, and ensure all training, auditing, and accreditation processes meet the highest industry standards.
Responsibilities for the QHSE Manager include: 

  • Lead and develop the QHSE strategy, ensuring compliance with UK legislation, ISO standards, and company policies.
  • Oversee audits, inspections, risk assessments, and contractor management to maintain accreditation's.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental practices.


Role Requirements for the QHSE Manager:  

  • Relevant Health & Safety qualifications (IOSH essential, NEBOSH desirable) and proven experience in QHSE management.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK Health & Safety law and ISO accreditation processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Proven track record in a fast-paced manufacturing or operational environment, delivering measurable improvements.
