Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30
Friday: 08:00 - 15:30
Flexibility may be required to accommodate overtime when meeting customer deadlines.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join a growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about precision engineering and quality assurance, with future progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections and measurements using a Faro Arm to ensure product quality

  • Work closely with production teams to maintain and improve quality standards

  • Support automotive plastics projects and quality processes for both plastics and metal components

  • Identify quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions

  • Assist in developing and maintaining quality documentation and reporting systems

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing and engineering processes

  • Support innovation in materials, production methods, and product design

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience using Faro Arm inspection equipment

  • Experience within automotive plastics preferred

  • Exposure to metal components advantageous but not essential

  • Experience inspecting machined components

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Ambition to progress into a Quality Manager role

  • Experience within automotive or aerospace sectors is beneficial
