Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30
Friday: 08:00 - 15:30
Flexibility may be required to accommodate overtime when meeting customer deadlines.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join a growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about precision engineering and quality assurance, with future progression.
Conduct inspections and measurements using a Faro Arm to ensure product quality
Work closely with production teams to maintain and improve quality standards
Support automotive plastics projects and quality processes for both plastics and metal components
Identify quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
Assist in developing and maintaining quality documentation and reporting systems
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing and engineering processes
Support innovation in materials, production methods, and product design
Experience using Faro Arm inspection equipment
Experience within automotive plastics preferred
Exposure to metal components advantageous but not essential
Experience inspecting machined components
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ambition to progress into a Quality Manager role
Experience within automotive or aerospace sectors is beneficial
