We are pleased to be recruiting a Quality Engineer for our established client in the Tredegar area.
The successful candidate will identify and implement Continual Improvement programmes throughout
manufacturing. You will also audit and report on the effectiveness and performance of the Quality Management Systems, through out the facility.
Key Responsibilities
▪ As part of a team, perform various audits against predeclared schedules.
▪ Customer support both UK and abroad as required
▪ Train, develop and support the workforce to improve their understanding of the company's quality requirements.
▪ Support the Quality Manager in the effective resolution of customer concerns.
▪ Support the Quality Manager in APQP activities.
▪ Participate to continuous improvement (SMED, PPM reductions etc)
▪ Investigate concerns, assist in preventing repeat issues. Ensure correct quality tools available to meet customer and plant expectations
▪ Management of customer concerns and the verification and reporting of the corrective actions. To coordinate the process ensuring all required parties comply to the corrective actions in a timely manner.
▪ Monitor and analyse production data to increase OEE
▪ Maintain required KPI's.
▪ Support calibration requirements.
Education & Qualifications
▪ Good understanding of ISO9001:2015; TS16949:2016.
▪ Fully conversant in PFMEA, Control Plans, 5S, Lean Philosophy.
▪ Ideally CMM conversant or trained in PcDmis.
▪ Ideally TS16949 internal auditor trained.
This is a days regular role, Monday to Friday offering a salary between £35000-£40000 per year DOE.
