Are you an experienced Quality Inspector looking for a new opportunity?
We're working with a well-established manufacturing business seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join their production team. The role is key in ensuring that products are manufactured to the highest standards and comply with BS EN 9001 quality procedures.


The Role

As a Quality Inspector, you will provide guidance, support, and training to the production team, ensuring that manufacturing procedures are followed accurately and consistently. You'll be responsible for monitoring quality throughout the production process, carrying out inspections, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting random inspections during production to ensure compliance with procedures

  • Performing end-of-line inspections and documenting results, including photographic evidence

  • Supporting client visits and preparing conformance packs

  • Checking compliance against engineering drawings and providing support to production teams

  • Maintaining records of welder qualifications, measuring tools, and calibrations

  • Carrying out internal audits and reporting findings

  • Inspecting imported goods and galvanising quality

  • Investigating and reporting customer complaints


About You

  • Strong experience in quality inspection, preferably with welding and fabrication

  • Competent in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively

  • Strong customer service mindset and attention to detail

  • Previous experience in internal auditing and reporting is desirable

  • Ideally 5+ years' experience in a similar quality role
