Quality Technician

Stafforce are working in partnership with a manufacturer in Elsham, we are recruiting a reliable, hard working quality technician. This is a fantastic temporary to permanent opportunity offering a pay rate of (£12.78).

Working hours

4 on/4 off role, with 1 hour paid break and average 42 hours a week.

2 days of days 2 days of nights 6-6

The package includes:

  1. Salary - £12.79 per hour. Overtime is available (cover holidays, sickness) and is paid at 1.5 and 2.0 (Sunday and BHs).
  2. Bonus - Gainshare up to 5% of earnings every quarter
  3. Holidays - 20 days per annum (pro-rata if candidate is starting part way through the year)
  4. Life Assurance with Legal and General - 4x scheme earnings
  5. Pension (Royal London) - Company pension scheme contribution matched by company - 4%

Specific responsibilities:

* Re-work material that has been quarantined from previous 24 hours

* Support the volume coming off the 3rd Slitter running medical

* Support the release of medical products that will be supplied direct from Extrusion

* Carry out internal Quality audits of the quality systems including product, 5's, hygiene, glass and Insects audits

* Supervise quality records and retained samples

* Organize materials in quarantine, maintain records, and notify relevant personnel

* Control of positive release

* Carry out material analysis for product development and corrective action investigations

* Perform product inspection / testing for;

- Materials in Quarantine

- New materials / development

- Others as directed

And report results to Quality and Technical Manager

* Input non - conforming material information on to the computer for reporting purposes

* QA Administration work as assigned

* Other projects as assigned including WCM

* General weekend, sickness absence and holiday cover as and when required

* Assist in all Quality Areas Cross - Functional

* Any other tasks commensurate with the role
