Working in partnership with Youngs Seafood in Grimsby we are recruiting a reliable, hardworking Cold stores Operative with Reach Truck License.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an Employer of Choice that offers training opportunities and great pay, alongside real temp to perm opportunities
This position has immediate start and paid training.
FULL TIME:

  • 4x4 Days/4 Nights/Off
  • Payrate £15.45/h


Roles are ongoing for the candidates with excellent attendance, attitude and job performance.
All positions have the potential for temp to perm transfer, following a successful probationary period for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Reach Truck safely to move pallets and stock throughout the warehouse.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently.
  • Store products in designated racking locations.
  • Pick, replenish, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
  • Use handheld scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to record stock movements.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and report any faults or maintenance issues.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and assist with stock counts.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times.
  • Work effectively in chilled and frozen environments while wearing the required PPE.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and free from hazards.
  • Support general warehouse duties, including packing, labelling, and manual handling when required.
  • Work as part of a team to meet productivity and quality targets.
