Recycling Operative - Days & Nights

Location:Rockcliffe, Carlisle

Shifts: Day and Night Shifts Available

Job Type: Full‑time, ongoing

Start Date: Immediate starts available

About the Role

You'll be part of a busy recycling facility in Rockcliffe, helping to sort, process, and manage recyclable materials safely and efficiently. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone reliable, physically fit, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sorting recyclable materials on a conveyor line

  • Separating waste streams (plastic, cardboard, metals, etc.)

  • Maintaining a clean and safe working area

  • Following site health & safety procedures

  • Working as part of a supportive team to meet daily targets

  • Operating basic machinery (training provided)

Shift Patterns

  • Days: Typically between 06:00-16:00

  • Nights: Typically between 17:00-06:00

  • Overtime available depending on site demand

What We're Looking For
