We are currently recruiting for a Renewable Energy Designer on a full time and permanent basis for our client based on the outskirts of Nottingham.
Renewable Energy Designer
Monday to Friday working hours
Office based
Driving license is necessary for the role.
Salary circa: £50K Per annum depending on experience

Role and responsibilities
· Surveying domestic and commercial properties for roof and ground mounted solar PV systems and battery storage
· Creating technical electrical designs for solar PV installations
· Building relationships with customers to gain a clear understanding of their project requirements.
· Ensuring the right system is created for customer projects.
· Supporting customers in their ongoing understanding of their renewable energy installations
· Specifying and ordering electrical materials
· Managing supplier relationships
Role requirements:
· 18th Edition
· A recognised Solar PV installation qualification
· UK driving license.
About you:
· Experienced in a similar role.
· Proven ability to design electrical installations
· Excellent communication skills
· Project management experience
· Team player
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in the Solar Industry backed up with several years' experience working as a domestic and commercial solar PV designer.
