Job Title: RoRo Operator

Contract: 176 guarenteed hours after training sign off

About the Role

We are looking for reliable and safety-conscious RoRo Operators to join our team at Stafforce. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and cargo on and off vessels, supporting smooth and timely port operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive vehicles (cars, vans, HGVs, RoRo, Tug/tipper, plant machinery) on and off vessels safely.

  • Operate RoRo equipment in line with company procedures and safety standards.

  • Secure cargo and vehicles for sea transport.

  • Carry out visual checks to identify and report damage or defects.

  • Support loading/unloading teams and follow instructions from supervisors.

  • Work to strict deadlines while maintaining high safety standards.

About You

  • Full UK driving licence (essential).

  • Confidence in driving different vehicle types (manual/automatic).

  • Safety-focused, with attention to detail.

  • Flexible to work shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.

  • Team player with good communication skills.

  • Previous experience in port, logistics, or transport environments is desirable but not required - full training provided.
