The Royal Mint Experience are looking for Tourguides to join their team to work part time hours. Hours vary: 8:30 am to 9:30 pm on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and school holidays (with the first tour at 9 am and the last at 8 pm), and 3:00 pm to 9:30 pm on weekdays (with the first tour at 3 pm and the last at 8 pm).

Description

Stafforce are looking to employ a number of Tour Guides to work a minimum of 6 hours per week. You will be required to be flexible and be able to work between Monday - Sunday including evenings on a rota based system.

Key Accountabilities:

· Embrace the idea of 'the team' and actively work to ensure the success of the attraction.Aconscientious attitude, ability to follow the script given and be open to receiving feedback from the management team.

· Ensure you are always punctual ready to start working at the time your shift starts.

· Ensure the highest standards of presentation are maintained throughout the attraction at all times.

· Be courteous and professional to guests at all times.

· Observe and report to the General/Duty Manager immediately any incidents which may affect the presentation, other employees or guests of the visitor attraction.

Person Specification:

Essential

· Experience in retail, using tills, stock replen

· Energetic, Happy, outgoing

· Ability to engage members of the public

· Ability to gather an audience and public speaking

· Outstanding Customer Service

· Creativity and Enthusiasm

· A flexible, hands-on, can-do approach

· Initiative and positivist

· An excellent work-ethic and desire to develop skills

Desirable

· Experience in amateur dramatics

· Previous Experience of working in the Tourism Sector

· Experience in group management to maintain tight booking times

· Ability to speak a foreign language

· Awareness of health and safety

· Storytelling/ Interest in History

Part-time hours: Minimum 6 hours per week
