We're recruiting for a Sales Order Processor to join our well-established client in Leicester (LE19) on a permanent basis.
Salary: £28,000 per annum.
Hours: Monday - Friday 40 hours per week with flexible start and finish times.

The Role:
As a Sales Order Processer, you will liaise directly with customers both over the phone and via email to ascertain and understand their needs and process their order through production to delivery stage. The role requires an extensive build-up of product knowledge, attention to detail and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and speedily process orders/enquiries from both existing and prospective customers
  • Communicate effectively with all internal departments building strong relationships with all internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrate proactive communication skills with customers, whether it be via phone or email
  • Ensure excellent computer skills and a strong knowledge of Sage 200 or similar software and a knowledge of CRM systems would be an advantage
  • Demonstrate a 'Can-Do' attitude and have experience of working in a team environment where communication is key
  • Ensure exceptional telephone skills and be comfortable managing difficult situations
  • Ensure excellent problem - solving skills to see the job through to the end
  • Be able to work to tight deadlines and pressurised timescales
