Semi- Skilled Fitter

Working in partnership with a highly recognised manufacturer in Hull (HU7) we are recruiting a reliable, hardworking Semi- Skilled Fitter. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an Employer of Choice that offers career progression, training opportunities and great pay (starting £13.50 - £14.50 and progressing depending on experience after 12 weeks) TEMP TO PERM OPPORTUNITY

Shift pattern / Working hours

Monday to Friday.

8am to 5 pm Monday to Thursday

8 am to 2:30 pm Friday

Start date / Duration

Semi- Skilled Fitter position will commence with immediate effect however, if you do have a notice period with a current employer, we will work around this. This is temp to permanent contract

Job description

Semi- Skilled Fitters are responsible for producing and manufacturing, assembling table tops, cabinets, desk, unit etc for schools, offices and caravans

* Reading from drawings / pictures and manufacturing products to specification

* Been able to keep up with requirements

* Using hand held tools

* General labouring duties

* Installation of fixtures and fitting

* Occasional working on site away 1-2 times per month

The successful candidate:

· 2 years' experience required.

· Able to work full time hours Monday to Friday.

· Committed, team player with a keen eye for quality.

· Reliable with good timekeeping.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.

· Must hold a valid driving license
