SEMI-SKILLED JOINER
We are recruiting a reliable and motivated Semi-Skilled Joiner to join our client based in HU12. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with joinery experience looking to develop their skills within a growing modular construction environment. The role offers a competitive pay rate of £14.00 - £15.00ph and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

Shift Pattern / Working Hours
Monday to Friday
7:00am - 4:00pm
Overtime available

Start Date / Duration
The Semi-Skilled Joiner role will start with immediate effect, offering ongoing work with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate following a successful temporary period.

Job Description
As a Semi-Skilled Joiner, you will be involved in the manufacture and assembly of modular and portable buildings, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard. Your duties will include:

  • Assisting with the construction and assembly of modular buildings and portable units
  • Fitting doors, windows, flooring, wall panels and other interior components
  • Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Reading and working from basic drawings and measurements
  • Carrying out repairs, alterations and finishing work as required
  • Working alongside skilled tradespeople to meet production deadlines
  • Maintaining high standards of quality, housekeeping and health & safety


The Successful Candidate:
To be considered for the position of Semi-Skilled Joiner you must have:

  • Previous joinery, carpentry or construction experience
  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Ability to read basic technical drawings and measurements
  • A good understanding of health & safety procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • A reliable, punctual and positive attitude towards work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
