Semi Skilled Joiner
Working in partnership with a highly recognised manufacturer in Hull (HU7) we are recruiting a reliable, hardworking Semi Skilled Joiner. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an Employer of Choice that offers career progression, training opportunities and great pay (£14-£16 depending on experience).
Shift pattern / Working hours
Mon to Thurs 8am to 5pm
Friday 8am to 2:30pm
Start date / Duration
The Semi Skilled Joiner position will commence with immediate effect however, if you do have a notice period with a current employer, we will work around this. This is temp to permanent contract meaning this role will go permanent after 12 weeks.
Job description
As a Semi Skilled Joiner you will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling tabletops, cabinets, desk, units etc for schools, offices and caravans. Your day to day duties will include;
· Reading from drawings and assembling products to specification
· Using handheld tools, saws, edge banders and other machinery
· Installation of fixtures and fittings
· Working away on sites around 25% of the time which may include occasional overnight stays
· General labouring duties and heavy lifting

To be considered for the position of Semi Skilled Joiner you must;
· Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, using various hand tools, saws and machinery
· Be able to occasionally work away with overnight stays
· Be able to work from specifications to assemble and install a range of products
· Hold a valid driving license
· Be a committed, team player with a keen eye for quality.
· Be reliable with good timekeeping.
· Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
