Job Details

We are looking for an experienced Sewing Machinist to join one of our clients in Rotherham! This role requires a skilled individual with at least 5 years of experience working primarily on a flat bed walking foot machine, handling heavy industrial materials. You will be responsible for general sewing duties, particularly for insulation jackets made from scratch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate flat bed walking foot machines to sew heavy industrial materials
• Produce high-quality insulation jackets from scratch
• Ensure precision and consistency in all sewing tasks
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Work to production schedules and meet deadlines

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Sewing Machinist
• Proficient in working with heavy-duty industrial fabrics and materials
• Experience with flat bed walking foot machines is essential
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Strong organisational skills and ability to follow instructions

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM - 2:30 PM
• 38.5 hours per week
