About the Role

We're looking for a skilled Sewing Operative to join a growing manufacturing team in Carlisle. This is a permanent position with an immediate start for the right person. You'll be working with a variety of materials, producing high‑quality stitched products to exact specifications.

***IMMEDIATE START***

What You'll Be Doing

  • Operating industrial sewing machines to produce consistent, high‑quality work
  • Following patterns, measurements, and production instructions
  • Maintaining accuracy and pace in a fast‑moving environment
  • Working closely with the production team to meet deadlines
  • Adapting to changing workloads and priorities as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain quality
  • Experience with sewing machinery (industrial or domestic)
  • A positive, adaptable approach to work
  • Reliability and strong work ethic
  • The ability to persevere through hard work.
  • Physically fit
  • A decent understanding of English reading, writing and speaking

**It would be great if you also had the following - but it isn't a deal breaker!**

Hours & Shifts

  • Monday to Friday initially - 6am to 3pm
  • Moving to a 3 on / 3 off shift pattern - 6am - 6pm
  • Full‑time, permanent role
