We are looking for an electrically biased Shift Maintenance Engineer to work for our client based in the outskirts of Loughborough, Leicestershire.

Shift Maintenance Engineer role working an average of 42 hours per week over a 3 week rolling period that includes working Mornings, Afternoons, and Nights:

(46 hours per week): 6am to 3pm Monday to Thursday / 6am to 4pm Friday

(40 hours per week): 2pm to 10pm Monday to Thursday / 9am to 5pm Friday

(40 hours per week): 8pm to 6am Monday to Thursday / No Friday Nights

Applicants must be electrically biased and happy to use own tools.

Responsibilities:

· Ensure that plant and facilities are maintained to a high standard.

· Ensure that plant downtime meets targets.

· Maintain safety and cleanliness in the workplace.

· Manage and improve plant and facilities, ensuring all works comply with SHE guidelines.

· Maintain engineering stores including stock and inventory levels.

· Demonstrate continuous improvement.

· Report and record all works using CMM systems.

· Build and maintain working relationships with customer departments within the business.

· Assist with engineering solutions and cost-effective repairs.

· To support the production and maintenance team to ensure that the plant exceeds its targets for performance, quality, and safety.

About you:

· Time served apprenticeship, preferably multi-skilled.

· Qualified NVQ level 3 minimum.

· Previous experience in a similar role.

· Good SHE awareness.

· 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

· Good fault-finding skills.

· Experience with TPM and PPM systems.

· Good IT skills

· Able to work as part of a team.
