Steel Operative - Immediate Start Available

Location: Scunthorpe

Pay Rate: £13.35 per hour

Hours: 12 hour shifts

Are you an experienced Steel Operative or Warehouse Operative looking for a new opportunity in a fast‑paced environment? We're recruiting motivated individuals to join a leading team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with hands‑on experience and strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately record damage to steel using a handheld scanner.
  • Record pictures of incoming loads
  • Measuring, checking, and preparing steel components
  • Adhering to health & safety procedures at all times
  • Working as part of a team to meet site targets and deadlines
  • General warehouse duties including packing, stacking, and maintaining a clean working environment

Requirements

  • Experience in a steel, manufacturing, or heavy industry environment preferred
  • Ability to work with manual handling and heavy materials
  • Strong awareness of workplace health & safety
  • Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills
