Stafforce are looking for Stock Controller / Admin, offering immediate starts for our client in Scunthorpe, DN15.
Our client is Sofina Distribution Centre one of the UK's leading pork processors, an employer of choice with ongoing staff requirements and competitive rates of pay, including overtime.
This position has immediate start and paid training.
FULL TIME:
- 4on/4off (12h shift) 6pm-6am
- Payrate £13.54p/h
ABOUT THE JOB:
- Processing orders, stock maintenance and reporting in our internal system.
- Management of day-to-day customer relationship.
- Delivery management with Logistics provider and customer specific logistics analysis.
- Management of movement of support stock within the.
- General warehouse administration and stock control duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels within the warehouse.
- Process goods received, stock transfers, production movements, and dispatch transactions using the warehouse management system (WMS) or ERP system.
- Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and investigate any discrepancies.
- Reconcile physical stock against system records and report variances.
- Maintain full traceability of raw materials, packaging, and finished products in line with food safety requirements.
- Prepare and maintain warehouse documentation, including delivery notes, stock reports, transfer documents, and inventory records.
- Liaise with Production, Purchasing, Planning, Quality, and Transport departments to ensure accurate stock availability.
- Support the booking in of deliveries and coordinate with suppliers where required.
- Monitor stock rotation.
- Ensure stock is stored correctly and warehouse locations remain accurate.
- Produce regular inventory and KPI reports for management.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing accurate stock documentation.
- Ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and within required timescales.
- Promote and follow Health & Safety, Food Safety, HACCP, GMP, and company policies at all times.
Essential
- Previous experience in stock control, warehouse administration, or inventory management.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Experience using warehouse management systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with multiple departments.
- Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
Desirable
- Previous experience within food manufacturing.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, BRCGS standards, or food safety requirements.
